First time on a blog? IH Viseu teachers session...

Hi! This is probably your first time on a blog.
Welcome!
This is a blog...

Before I say any more about blogging, I'd like to give you the chance to experience a blog first hand. Could you write down your first impressions about blogging. It could be your initial reaction to what you've heard this morning already, a question you'd like to ask, a summary of your ideas on blogging before today, what you expect from the rest of the session - have a quick look up and down this page - and react to this.... anything just to get you going.

No more than 50 words.

Just click on 'comment' below and start writing.

Good morning!

Well, I'm looking forward to finding out more about blogs, but I generally feel that it will come in useful for debating purposes with higher levels.

I'm really quite curious to find out what has been done and what can be done through blogs. At first sight, it seems interesting.

A blog appears to be a a strange creature which is invading the planet and appears to be useful to get sts using the language they learn in the classroom!!However, will sts be able to use theirs somewhat cloudy and inactive brain cells to actually give a sensible opinion on anything!!!1

Not sure quite what a blog is, but it seems to be essentially an electronic/web noticeboard rather like what I thought was known as a bulletin board or a public chat room where comments stay put! I know they are popular amongst journalists as a way of opening discussion with a wider/different audience and of course they are interactive and accessible round the clock. There is much potential here...
