Greetings from sleepy inland Portugal. Never heard of Viseu? Get hold of a map... If Portugal were a human body, Viseu would be the heart! Look forward to hearing from you...

EVO2005 - weblogging session
Well, I've joined up! First thank you to all the winderful people who are behind this incredible initiative - I'm eager to find out what will come out of this experience...
In reaction to the cartoon:
"I don't blog yet, therefore am I?"!
Lol, Paddy...of course you are! You have just given birth to your blog...so you have a presence online and your voice can be heard (only your words for the time being but very soon you will be incorporating the literal voice as well). Welcome! Warm regards from Brazil, Bee
Welcome blogger! Great to see you all set up and listed on the wiki.
Lesley Graham (http://ubex.blogspot.com/) thinks the cartoon would have been more appropriate if it had read "I think therefore I blog" - thinking about it now, I agree with him. I too am eager to see what will come of all this (good things, I hope!)
Lisbo ain't my strong point, but I can point you in the direction of a man who does know - or woman. BC should have plenty of folks around to help out there too.
Folks, as you see I've been making posts for my sts to use - I'm most excited about the prospects of grade 2/3 elementary students. (10-12 years old) Spurred on by the Anne Davis chat today, I'm taking the plunge and can't wait to see what comes out of the experiment. Will let you know how things go!
Question: I'm all for 'learning as you go'... (as was frequently mentioned in the chat), but do we have to keep reinventing the wheel?

Paddy
great to see you all kitted out with a weblog and signed up on the wiki blogroll.
Hope this blogging experience is as much fun for you as it has been for me so far.
Although I'm based in Barcelona, I'm coming your way (Lisbon actually= for a British Council course - recommend any good bars / restaurants?
